We always have in stock hundreds of fine bindings whether in calf or morocco, vellum or cloth. Many of the finest binders are represented, Bayntun, Riviere, Zaehnsdorf, Sangorski & Sutcliffe, Birdsall, Fazakerley to name but a few.

Chambers Collection

We have in stock a number of uniformly bound 'runs' of 19th century periodicals and magazines for example;

• 'Chambers Miscellany volumes 1-20, bound in 10, in tan half calf with marbled boards.
• 'Tales from Blackwood' volumes 1-12, bound in 6, in dark green half calf with red title labels.
• ' Bentleys Miscellany' volumes 7,8,9,10,11, and 12, bound in black half calf with elaborate gilt ornamentation to spines.
• 'North British Review' volumes 1-18, May 1844-1853, uniformly bound in tan half calf with marbled boards.
• 'Punch' from its inception in 1841. An unbroken run through to 1899, 59 volumes in total bound in red half morocco with raised bands and 'Mr Punch' figures in gilt in each compartment.
